Host Family Cultural Breaks

Immersion breaks for young adults to seek a flavour of France while staying with a host family. A chance to learn essential French, enjoy homegrown food, and experience the culture within the local markets, activities, and attractions all set in the tranquility of rural France. These programs also provide a unique opportunity to form lifelong connections and friendships. Living with a host family means becoming a part of their daily life, engaging in meaningful conversations, and sharing traditions that go beyond the surface of typical tourist experiences. It’s a chance to truly connect and gain a deeper understanding of French customs, values, and the warm community spirit that makes rural France so special.

Information

In Spring 2026, we are launching an innovative business venture aimed at young people across the UK. Our Homestay Cultural Breaks will provide an enriching experience where young individuals can immerse themselves in French culture. This initiative is designed to offer a blend of essential language learning, cultural activities, and sightseeing, all within a supportive and engaging environment.

The primary objectives of this venture are:

  • To offer young people a unique opportunity to experience French culture firsthand.
  • To facilitate the learning of essential French language skills in an immersive setting.
  • To provide a variety of engaging activities that enhance cultural understanding.
  • To allow participants to visit significant French attractions and landmarks.

Participants will engage in short daily French lessons tailored to their proficiency levels, where most of the learning is through activities. These lessons aim to equip them with practical language skills that they can use during their stay and beyond. By learning in a natural environment, young people will gain confidence in their language abilities.
